De-stressing
The goal this afternoon and tonight is to de-stress from the week and get ready for a relaxing comforting weekend. A friend at school sometimes asks for a ride home and I love giving her a ride because I can take pictures of her beautiful plants. Therefore, my de-stressing began with a trip into her world of nature. I love her yard it is completely natural and totally wonderful. If I had a yard I was responsible for I would xeriscape my yard, so it would not be a drain on our aquifers and I would enjoy Florida’s natural plants at my fingertips.
The weekend brings a big football game to the “Swamp” and so I will be sticking really close to home. I had thought about going out to Payne’s Prairie, but that is going to have to wait a little while since there are several games close to home. Since I went to Lake Alice I have been excited about going to the Prairie and seeing what the mosquitoes are like and if I can handle a little walk into a sanctuary. I want to see if it would have the same feeling the Ocean brings me. I need to find a special spot.
