The weather today is delightful! The temperatures are in the 70′s and so enjoyable and a break in the heat. I am looking forward to enjoying the cooler weather as it is so much easier on my heart. It is a lifting of a heavy burden.
In honor of the weather, I drove out to San Felasco Hammock, had to stay in my car to avoid the mosquitoes, but I was able to take a couple of pictures from my car. It was beautiful! I really liked the yellow things on the side of the road as you drive into the hammock. At first I thought they were little flowers but they are not. They are a beautiful shade of yellow.
What a great way to begin my day after school. Driving out there and getting some pictures was a decompression from school. It is wonderful to sit with nature and simply enjoy being in the moment.
Quote: ”Live each present moment completely and the future will take care of itself. Fully enjoy the wonder and beauty of each instant. Practice the presence of peace. The more you do that, the more you will feel the presence of that power in your life.” – Paramahansa Yogananda
