Cooler Weather

The weather today is delightful! The temperatures are in the 70′s and so enjoyable and a break in the heat. I am looking forward to enjoying the cooler weather as it is so much easier on my heart. It is a lifting of a heavy burden.
In honor of the weather, I drove out to San Felasco Hammock, had to stay in my car to avoid the mosquitoes, but I was able to take a couple of pictures from my car. It was beautiful! I really liked the yellow things on the side of the road as you drive into the hammock. At first I thought they were little flowers but they are not. They are a beautiful shade of yellow.
What a great way to begin my day after school. Driving out there and getting some pictures was a decompression from school. It is wonderful to sit with nature and simply enjoy being in the moment.
