Goddess

Day 277

Some days I seem to simply fall into an interesting sight that brings so many things to mind. After school I had an appointment and when I got out of my car I looked up and was simply intrigued with the bark of the tree next to me. I stood there and enjoyed the trees, the wind blowing gently in the trees and the interesting bark of the tree next to me.

So, I put everything on the hood of my car and pulled out the ole trusty point and shoot, started taking pictures as I moved around the tree. I took picture close, pictures further away and some pictures simply in between. After my appointment and arriving home I headed directly to my computer as I could not wait and see the pictures of this incredible tree. I really enjoyed scrolling through the pictures and seeing what popped up from my adventure.

Then I came to the picture above and it shouted out “Goddess”, I was enthralled. I see several things pertaining to the feminine. Sometimes, because I have had a load to carry for many years, I forget about that very important part of me. I spend time protecting that part of me and keeping the inner girl safe. I realized this project has allowed me to bring out the young girl as well as the older woman to simply play. Creativity.
